Okay, so I know I kind of promised fan art, but, eh... This was something I felt I needed to do. Since I've been actively trying to develop my skills, I figured I needed to do a more precise comparison on something that was once something of a breakthrough to me.

So, I redrew some Tales OCs I used to be somewhat proud of. I held back my urge to fix their rather... eh... designs for the most part, in order to keep them recognizable. It hurt. My character designing has, if not improved, at least changed a whole lot during this year, so looking back at these was a little painful :p
Also, it's been a while since I went purely "anime" like this, so it felt a little odd, too.

Well, there's a difference. I'm very relieved to see that. But I still need to work hard with this whole improving thing.

Frankly, I couldn't believe the Before pic was only from a year ago when I went to check the date. Right now, it feels like it was decades ago, somehow.

Of course, finally taking up Photoshop does wonders to one's pics. Also, I'm lucky enough to have been accepted into a school that teaches this stuff, and to have received a lot of tips, help and support from my incredibly talented classmates ;D

So it's been a pretty busy year (though that hardly shows in my DA gallery/activity... ehehehe :blush:).
